Yoga Instructor Karin Stoetzer
Karin fell in love with yoga when she realized after taking yoga classes not only did her body feel stronger, but she felt relaxed and as though her stress, even if temporarily, went away. She was so amazed by the positive changes in her mind and body that she wanted to share the experience with others through teaching.
She received her 200 and 500 hour Yoga Teacher Training Certifications from Yoga Sutra for Life, lead by her Guru, Ranjitha Sandeep. She teaches Hatha/Vinyasa style of yoga that is challenging, yet relaxing and designs her classes based on the student’s level, needs, limitations and comfort.
In addition to teaching yoga, Karin runs a marketing business and greatly enjoys volunteering for The Seeing Eye, a local guide dog organization for the blind.
Yoga is a form of exercise that offers a range of benefits to those that practice it, from improving flexibility and stamina to increasing muscle tone, strength joints, and cleansing the body and mind. Yoga can help to increase circulation and reduce stress and fatigue levels, and can help you to relax, bringing together your mind, body, and spirit.
One of the translations for the word yoga is “union”. The word Hatha is a term for the balance between the sun and the moon; These are 2 polarities that exist within all of us. In a Hatha/Vinyasa Yoga class, you link your movement with your breath through a series of postures to reach a total balance/union of your mind, body and spirit.
